Job Title: Grill Cook (Line Cook)Job OverviewAre you passionate about cooking great food and delivering an exceptional guest experience? Fatburger is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Grill Cook to join our team! In this role, you will be the heart of our kitchen, responsible for preparing our famous, cooked-to-order burgers and ensuring every meal meets our high standards of quality and freshness. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working as part of a team, we want to hear from you! [1]Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality food items according to Fatburger’s exact recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including flat-top grills, fryers, and charbroilers.
Manage grill stations during peak hours to ensure fast, accurate ticket times without sacrificing quality.
Maintain strict food safety and sanitation guidelines, including monitoring food temperatures and labeling stock.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout your shift.
Collaborate with front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service and accurate order fulfillment.
Perform opening and closing kitchen duties, including equipment teardown, cleaning, and sanitizing.[1, 2, 3, 4]

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a grill cook, line cook, or short-order cook in a fast-casual environment is preferred.
Food Safety: Valid Food Handler’s Card or local food safety certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire).
Speed & Stamina: Ability to work quickly under pressure while standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
Teamwork: Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward helping coworkers.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. [1]
