Full job description

Overview
The Accounts Payable Administrator, under the direction of the Assistant Controller, will primarily be responsible to complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This position will also work closely with other Finance team members to maintain control of accounts payable and accounts payable internal reporting requirements. The Accounts Payable Administrator candidate must be able to adapt to new technology and ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Duties

Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain vendor records and update account information as necessary.
Assist with the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions.
Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices or payments.
Prepare reports on accounts payable activities for management review.
Meet finance month-end close schedule and deadlines.
Utilize Yardi accounting software for data entry and record management.
Cross train and back-up to other members of the accounting team
Support the Office Administrator with vendor inquiries.
Process SAP Concur employee expenses and coordinate payment
SAP Concur Expense and Visa program Administrator
Daily review and approval of purchase orders/change orders
Comply with internal controls and follows Company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

3+years proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with accounting software, Yardi is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
