We're looking for Budtenders to join our Kelowna retail location. We're looking for someone reliable, professional, and passionate about Cannabis Industry. The right fit!
All applicants must be the minimum age of 19 with flexible availabilities shifts, including day, evening and weekends shifts. We are open 7 days a week from 9 am - 11pm. Applicant must have a valid selling-it-right certification from the Responsible BC website.
We are currently looking for Part time & Casual budtender for Kelowna, BC Location.
Responsibilities
Sales Associate / Keyholder (Budtender)
- Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store.
- Professionally handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns.
- Educate customers about our products and provenance in a professional and non- condescending manner.
- Process payments with POS and computer systems (COVA)
- Open and close the store accurately and on time
- Staying up to date on offers and specials and new drops.
- Responding to customers inquiries with comprehensive knowledges and accuracy.
- Closing and completing all end-of-day reports and procedures.
- Ensure the store is clean and tidy at all time.
- Inventory management / cash management
- Problem solving skills.
- Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19, by reviewing 2 valid government-issued photo identifications to validate permission to enter the premise.
- Assist in traffic flow management.
- Protect the company’s staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.
- Foster a sense of teamwork will all team members.
- Ensure the security of all company products at all times.
- Adhere to and uphold loss prevention systems to prevent all possible opportunities.
- Observe for signs of crime or disorder and communicate any disturbances.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Report in detail any suspicious incident.
- Handle delivery and pickup requests if applicable to the location.
- Follow all provincial and federal guidelines, and municipal rules , regulations and policies
Experience and Background
- Previous retail Cannabis or customer service/ budtender experience; cannabis sales experience preferred.(2+ years)
- Cannabis Retail Authorized selling it right (a must)
- Be at least 19 years of age.
- Polished professional with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Works well with others, Works well alone, with or without supervision.
- Knowledge of/abilities to learn/ educate about cannabis plants, strains, products, producers, terpenes, methods of consumption....
- Strong attention to details

- Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling, and enthusiasm.
- Energetic, positive mindset and highly determined
- Working knowledges of Retail Cannabis is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and POS systems.
- Driver license is a asset
Pay: $18.25-$20.25 per hour
