The Kingsville Animal Clinic is looking for a new team member.

There will be no on-call or weekend shifts, and we provide discounts on in-hospital products and treatments as well as professional services and complimentary IDEXX services for your pet(s).

Job Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service
Provide top-notch patient care
Focus on stress-free handling techniques
Technical skills, including but not limited to: IV catheter placement, injections, fluid therapy, intubation, dental scale and polish, taking radiographs including dental radiographs, in-hospital treatments
Technician medical appointments: including client education and minor procedures
Support DVM: including filling prescriptions, restraint of patients, anaesthetic monitoring
Assist reception when necessary
Manage incoming calls
Answer voicemails, emails and text messages
Invoicing and billing
Screening/triaging for service needs
Follow up with clients: phone calls and emails to update DVM on progress
Document and maintain all confidential client information, service data and patient information
Ensure all supplies are stocked the pharmacy, treatment area, surgery and dental suite as well as exam rooms
General cleaning and maintenance duties

Experience and skills:

Registered Veterinary Technician
