Full job description

Lloydminster Hyundai is looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.

This isn’t a job where you stand behind a counter and hand out repair orders. You’re the connection between our customers and our technicians — part problem-solver, part communicator, part salesperson, and occasionally the person who explains why that mysterious dashboard light probably shouldn’t be ignored.

If you like a fast-paced environment, enjoy talking to people, and know how to turn a stressful vehicle repair into a great customer experience, you may fit in very well here.

What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll own the customer experience from the moment a vehicle arrives until the keys go back into their hands.

That means you’ll:

Greet customers and get to the bottom of what’s happening with their vehicle
Ask the right questions and document concerns clearly so our technicians can get to work
Keep customers updated throughout the repair process — before they have to chase you for an answer
Translate technician recommendations into plain English customers can actually understand
Provide accurate estimates and help customers make informed decisions about repairs and maintenance
Recommend maintenance and additional services when they genuinely make sense for the customer and their vehicle
Work closely with technicians, parts and the rest of the service team to keep jobs moving
Manage repair orders, payments and service documentation accurately
Follow up and build relationships that make customers want to come back
Help us create the kind of service department people recommend to their friends

Who We’re Looking For

Automotive experience is a definite advantage, but personality and drive matter too.

You could be a great fit if you:

Have previous dealership, service advising, automotive or mechanical experience
Understand enough about vehicles to confidently discuss maintenance and repair recommendations
Are comfortable having sales conversations without making customers feel like they’re being “sold”
Communicate clearly and professionally — in person, over the phone and electronically
Can juggle customers, technicians, repair orders and changing priorities without everything catching fire
Pay attention to the details
Take ownership when something goes wrong instead of looking for someone else to blame
Like working as part of a team
Have a valid driver’s licence
