Full job description

As a Laser Technician at Ava Skin SPA, you will be responsible for providing professional laser treatments while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable experience for every client. You will conduct consultations, assess client suitability, explain treatment plans, and deliver services with care and precision.

The ideal candidate is confident working with laser technologies, has excellent communication skills, and genuinely enjoys helping clients feel their best.

Key Responsibilities

Perform professional laser treatments, including laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation procedures
Conduct detailed client consultations and skin assessments
Educate clients about treatment expectations, aftercare, and recommended skincare plans
Maintain accurate treatment notes and client records
Ensure all laser equipment is operated safely and maintained according to protocols
Follow sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
Build strong client relationships by creating a positive and welcoming experience
Recommend suitable skincare products and additional treatments when appropriate
Stay updated on new laser technologies, skincare trends, and industry best practices

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience as a Laser Technician, Medical Esthetician, or similar aesthetic role preferred
Certification or training in laser treatments (required)
Strong understanding of skin types, skincare, and laser safety protocols
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Professional, friendly, and detail-oriented personality
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
Experience in a spa, medispa, or aesthetic clinic setting is considered an asset
