Full job description

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-In Janitor to join our team at a prestigious multi-residential building in the laval area, The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in janitorial or building maintenance roles, with strong plumbing skills, computer proficiency, excellent people skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the building is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Conduct routine inspections of the building's common areas, facilities, and equipment.
Handle plumbing repairs and maintenance efficiently.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing efficient and effective solutions.
Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to management.
Communicate regularly with the office to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns.
Interact professionally and courteously with residents, addressing their concerns and requests in a timely manner.
Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, ensuring units are clean and ready for new residents.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1-3 years experience in janitorial or building maintenance roles.
Strong plumbing skills and experience with plumbing repairs.
Proficiency with computers and ability to use property management software.
Excellent people skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and French.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
