Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process payments with cash handling skills.
Provide friendly and attentive guest service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety and sanitation standards.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations in compliance with sanitation regulations.
Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tables or orders simultaneously during busy periods.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality or guest services experience is a plus.
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required. Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional service and teamwork!
