Overview

We are a metal roofing installation company. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sloped Roofer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining sloped roofs on residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, carpentry, and construction, with a focus on safety and quality craftsmanship. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects while developing your skills in roofing and related trades.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace sloped roofing systems using various metal roofing systems.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform roofing tasks efficiently and safely.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation.
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment to facilitate project progress.
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs.
Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal.
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.

Experience

Prior construction or roofing experience is highly preferred.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry techniques.
Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings is advantageous.
Knowledge of caulking techniques and waterproofing methods.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Handyman experience or general construction background is a plus.
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards.

Pay: $23.00-$47.00 per hour
