Hiring Process (How it Works)
(1) Indeed Application: After reviewing your Indeed application we may invite you to the next step below.
(2) Online Video Interview: If we advance you to the next step after your application, you'll spend 10-15min completing our Online Video Interview.
(3) On-Site 'Working Interview': If you pass the phone interview, you'll be given a 1-hour online mini-course, and invited to meet our manager(s) in-person to detail your vehicle following our processes and using our detailing tools & equipment. This is less about assessing your 'detailing ability' than it is seeing how well you communicate, follow instructions, show up on time, and demonstrate the right attitude that would fit in our company and culture.
(4) Get Your Conditional Offer: If you pass our working interview, you'll receive a conditional job offer, pending successfully passing our 1-week training and final evaluation.
(5) Training & Evaluation Week (Paid): After 2 days of virtual and in-person training, you'll work alongside our crew leaders for 3-4 shifts, after which a final evaluation will be made to determine if your conditional offer will be revoked or kept.

Final Message from the Owner
(Matt Graves)
Hi there - I'm thrilled for Cleen to officially have FIVE new open positions this year for Summer Mobile Detailers.
Here's some important things I want you to know before applying.
We don't hire often (the last time was 2 years ago) -and we're proud to have the highest Indeed employee rating of any detailing company in Ottawa, along with the most 5-star customer reviews of any mobile detailer (over 1000+ on Facebook and Google).
As one are one Canada's fastest-growing 'technology-enabled' mobile car detailing companies, our customers book their service in a few clicks, and get a 5-star car detailing service right from their door-step.
We are a 'People-First' and Living Wage Certified employer - which means our culture is centered around helping our team achieve their professional, financial, and personal goals as a core part of our mission.
Mobile detailing is a TOUGH JOB (it's not for most people). You're working for 8-9 hours a day in the sun, rain, snow, heat or cold - constantly moving, bending, and shuffling equipment around as you work to deliver an awesome vehicle transformation for the customer. This job is highly labour intensive - and you'll feel exhausted by the end of a shift.
However... you will reap the rewards of your work both in terms of compensation, job satisfaction from positive client reviews, being part of a team-oriented culture, and building new skills in detailing, customer service, sales and team-work. You'll find many of these skills useful in your career and life moving forward.
Finally - as a highly team-oriented service, we have a high-bar for only recruiting (and keeping) only those who can bring a positive attitude, with reliable attendance and timeliness each and every day.
I look forward to seeing your application - and best of luck!
