Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions. Experience with dental software such as Dentrix is highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment committed to delivering high-quality dental services.

Duties

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns throughout their visit
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment .
Support administrative tasks related to billing, insurance claims, and documentation

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice
Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Dentrix is preferred
Familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology enhances performance in this role
Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
