Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and quality standards are upheld
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently completing meal preparation tasks
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Prepare handmade onion rings

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety practices
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude
Flexibility to work morning shifts, including weekends or evenings if required by the restaurant schedule

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
