Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Salon Assistant to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a busy salon environment. You’ll help keep the salon running smoothly while supporting our groomers and making sure both pets and their owners have a great experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the grooming industry and wanting hands-on experience in a fun, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Greeting clients and helping with check-ins and check-outs
Answering phones, booking appointments, and responding to emails
Keeping the salon clean, organized, and sanitized
Helping groomers with bathing, drying, brushing, nail trims, and handling dogs
Assisting with laundry, cleaning kennels, and restocking supplies
Helping customers find products and recommending retail items when appropriate
Supporting the team wherever needed to help the day run smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

Friendly, positive, and dependable
Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Team player with a good attitude and willingness to learn
Previous salon, customer service, or animal experience is a bonus, but not required
Dog nail trimming experience is a BIG asset
