Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Boring Mill Machinist DIRECT HIRE POSITION to join our fantasitc work environment manufacturing team on the AFTERNOON SHIFT. This direct-hire BENEFITS DAY 1 position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced machinists to work with advanced equipment and contribute to precision manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency with CNC Boring Mill programming, and experience reading blueprints and technical drawings. Mist be able to sey up, program and modify programs

Duties

Operate CNC boring mills in a Mold shop/ facility. Min 3 years experience on Boring Mills a must!!
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks and other CAD software to set up machining operations
Program CNC machines to produce precise components according to specifications, utilizing CNC programming skills
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on machining equipment
Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards are met
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents for accurate machining setups
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift as needed for assembly or material handling
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to safety protocols

Experience

Proven experience operating CNC boring mills or similar machining equipment in a manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in machining operations
Proficiency in CNC programming languages. PowerMill , Lemoine or masterCam
Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models (SolidWorks preferred)
Familiarity with basic math skills necessary for precise measurement and calculations in machining tasks
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
