Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team in Alberta. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining a secure environment and upholding our commitment to exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.

Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
Conduct surveillance using CCTV and other monitoring systems.
Enforce laws and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potential issues.
Collaborate with law enforcement as needed during incidents.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
Assist in loss prevention strategies to protect client assets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid security guard license or certification.
Strong knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in surveillance techniques and CCTV operations.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
