We are currently seeking individuals for the positions of substitute ECE Infant & Toddler Teachers for our South Surrey centre located at:

15300 Croydon Dr #100, Surrey, BC V3S 0Z5

Academics PreKindergarten Teachers create an environment of love and magic, which is vital for young children. Our Teachers’ goal is instill a lifelong love of learning in our students, and to help our children develop a passion for learning and prepare them academically, physically, and socially for school. Our Teachers help all parents participate in their children’s education, and support the parents as well as the children. Academics PreKindergarten Teachers encourage children, parents, and the Academics team to develop lasting and meaningful relationships with one another.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional education certificate requirement ( Infant & Toddler)
Hold and maintain the Level 1 First Aid certification
Maintain a clear Criminal Record
Willing to learn and complete all required Academics Teacher Training
Special Need certification considered an asset
Ability to use the computer to input developmental data, daily reports, IXL etc.
Ability to effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities
Ability to make decisions on behalf of the children and protect their well-being
Must be able to manage confidential information
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in case of emergency
