Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Countertop Polisher / Finisher to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing countertops to achieve a high-quality, polished appearance that meets our exacting standards. Your expertise will help transform raw materials into stunning, finished surfaces that enhance our customers’ spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of tools and machinery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence.

Duties

Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to polish, smooth, and finish countertop surfaces
Use machining and fabrication equipment to shape and refine materials according to specifications
Apply finishing techniques such as grinding, sanding, and polishing to achieve desired surface quality
Conduct quality checks throughout the finishing process to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
Assist with assembly and installation preparations as needed, ensuring proper fit and finish
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members on the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery including welding equipment when necessary

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, machinery, and manufacturing processes
Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely within a warehouse or manufacturing setting
Proficiency with machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Construction experience or background in manufacturing environments is highly desirable
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
