Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the primary person responsible for all activities occurring on the job site, including scheduling trades, supervising staff, and receiving materials.
Ensure daily work is completed in accordance with the project budget and schedule
Ensure project meets all design requirements and exceeds high standards of craftsmanship.
Coach, mentor, and supervise TPI staff, including providing training, assigning tasks, and approving work hours.
Ensure all tools, materials, utilities, staffing, and preparatory tasks are organized and confirmed prior to each workday on site, including ordering materials and arranging tool bookings.
Coordinate with trades to ensure they have the necessary site access, materials, utilities, and support required to complete tasks on schedule and in accordance with TPI quality standards.

Ensure compliance with all applicable building, safety, and environmental codes and regulations.
Promote and maintain a healthy, respectful, and professional work environment through conflict resolution, positive team leadership, and strong communication.
Document and communicate client requests and concerns clearly and promptly to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of site supervision experience in the construction industry (Required).
Minimum of 2 years of site experience in custom residential or commercial tenant improvement projects involving a high level of design detail (Preferred).
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials (Required).
Ability to accurately estimate material quantities and labour costs (Required).
Solid understanding of building codes and safety standards (Required).
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
Ability to perform a wide range of construction tasks, including carrying heavy materials and working on ladders or scaffolding in various weather conditions (Required).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Required).

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
