Position Summary

We are looking for skilled, motivated CNC Machinists who take pride in producing high-quality work. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to continuous improvement while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

We are currently hiring experienced machinists in:

CNC Milling
CNC Turning
Multi-Axis Machining
Mill-Turn Operations

What You Would Typically Do In This Role

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and technical specifications
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Set up, program, and operate Mazak CNC machining centres with minimal supervision
Perform precision machining operations including milling, turning, boring, drilling, tapping, and other CNC processes
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds for each operation
Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances
Complete First Article Inspections and in-process quality inspections
Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment
Complete inspection documentation and production records accurately
Perform routine machine maintenance and identify opportunities for process improvements
Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely when required
Work closely with fellow machinists, welders, fabricators, and other trades
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all company policies, ISO 9001 quality procedures, and workplace safety standards

What You Need To Bring

Journeyperson Machinist certification or equivalent industry experience
Minimum three years of CNC machining experience preferred but not required
Experience with Mazak equipment and Mazatrol programming is considered a strong asset (training will be provided for the right candidate)
Strong understanding of CNC milling, turning, multi-axis machining, or mill-turn technologies
Ability to independently set up, program, and operate CNC equipment
Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling applications and cutting parameters
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

What Access Precision Machining Offers:

Competitive wage rage of $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience, ability, and qualifications
Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts with flexible scheduling opportunities. Day shift and night shift opportunities. Overtime may be available
