Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations
Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar and dining areas before and after shifts
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Engage with guests to create a hospitable environment that encourages repeat visits
Follow all food safety regulations and health department guidelines

Skills

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and cash handling tasks
Effective serving skills with attention to detail in order accuracy and presentation
Good communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
