Full job description

Company Overview

Summary

We are looking for a Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing pizza dough, making pizzas, and producing fresh focaccia while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough according to established recipes and procedures.
Mix, portion, shape, and properly ferment pizza dough.
Stretch, top, and bake pizzas consistently and efficiently.
Prepare focaccia bread, including dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, topping, and baking.
Monitor dough fermentation times, temperatures, and overall quality.
Prepare and organize ingredients needed for pizza and focaccia production.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
Clean and maintain ovens, equipment, and kitchen tools.
Work efficiently and calmly during busy service periods.
Follow recipes, portion sizes, and restaurant quality standards.
Communicate and work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

Previous experience working with pizza and dough preparation.
Good understanding of dough fermentation and handling.
Previous experience making focaccia is an asset.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
