Responsibilities:

Set up station for service, including required mise en place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to current food and workplace safety standards
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, adhering to recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Execute efficient prep work to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Follow inventory control procedures to minimize waste and maintain cost effectiveness
Carry out tasks and report to the Lead Cook and/or Executive Chef, as required
Maintain a respectful and professional approach with both coworkers and customers

Requirements:

Minimum 2 Years culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment, with a passion for culinary arts and a focus on delivering exceptional taste and presentation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen setting, including Safe Food Handler certification.
Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Banquet experience PREFERRED
