Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bartender. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, with a strong focus on customer service, food safety, and efficient cash handling. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while working in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Manage serving times efficiently to ensure timely service during busy periods
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage preparation
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, especially in a restaurant setting
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
A positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $17.75 per hour
