Full job description

Seeking 1-2 part time employees to work 10-20 hours per week primarily over supper and weekends. You will be trained on order taking, payment processing, and pizza making. Potential to transition to full time for the right candidate. Please note we are not currently assisting with immigration.

$18 per hour after training completed.

Duties

Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to take orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage cash handling responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Assist with food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Handle food handling tasks with proper hygiene practices, adhering to health regulations.
Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management and teamwork skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations.
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus.
Ability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
