Full job description

Global Bridge Immigration is seeking a U.S. Immigration Lawyer who wants to join our team. We are a Canadian immigration consulting firm dedicated to helping our clients navigate their cross-border employment and relocation goals and have been helping clients apply for US immigration for almost 30 years. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced U.S. Immigration Lawyer to join and enhance our growing team. This role is crucial to expanding our services and ensuring top-tier support for clients pursuing U.S. immigration opportunities.

We are based in Burnaby, BC. Ideally, candidates reside in Greater Vancouver Area (GVA), but, we are willing to consider candidates who reside outside of GVA. This is a full time position, 37.5 hours a week, Mon-Fri.

The Role

As our U.S. Immigration Lawyer, you will be our internal expert, providing comprehensive legal counsel to clients seeking U.S. temporary and permanent residency. You will work closely with our consultants to strategize and manage complex cases, ensuring accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide legal advice and strategic planning for employment-based U.S. immigration cases.

· Prepare and file petitions and applications with USCIS, NVC and overseas visa posts.

· Collaborate with our team members to provide seamless, cross-border immigration strategies for corporate and individual clients.

· Stay up to date on U.S. immigration policy changes and advise the team on potential impacts.

Qualifications

Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience practicing U.S. immigration law specializing employment-based immigration applications.

Licensing: Active membership in good standing with a U.S. State Bar.

Expertise: Deep understanding of employment-based immigration processes.

Asset: Proven experience handling EB-1A, EB2-NIW, EB-3 and EB5 visa applications from initial labor certification through to final adjudication is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
