PROFILE SUMMARY
Our People & Culture team plays a key role in shaping Wesgroup’s growth by attracting exceptional talent who align with our values, culture, and long-term vision.
We are looking for an experienced, relationship-driven, and highly collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment across a diverse portfolio of roles while partnering closely with leaders to strengthen hiring practices, elevate interview quality, and drive exceptional hiring outcomes.
You’ll report directly to the Senior Director, People & Culture, a highly regarded and supportive leader known for their thoughtful, collaborative, and people-first approach. You’ll also be joining a highly experienced and well-established team that values partnership, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality work.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of corporate and field-based roles
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective hiring and sourcing strategies
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments and offer management
- Deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience aligned with Wesgroup’s employer brand
- Assess candidate capabilities, leadership potential, and long-term organizational fit
- Lead and evolve Wesgroup’s highly successful annual summer intern recruitment program to attract top-tier student talent
- Build and maintain strong relationships with post-secondary institutions to support building early talent pipelines
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Dayforce)
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics and market insights to identify trends and opportunities
- Continuously review and enhance Talent Acquisition processes, tools and practices to ensure a modern, efficient, and high-quality hiring experience.
Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor on hiring strategy, role scoping and candidate selection
- Guide leaders in delivering structured interviews that drive consistent, high-quality hiring outcomes
- Build hiring manager capability by promoting best practices and consistency across the organization
- Share market insights and talent trends to inform hiring strategies and support decision-making
- Oversee and manage all external recruitment agency relationships
Talent Market Engagement
- Build and cultivate diverse talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and networking
- Strengthen Wesgroup’s employer brand by creating meaningful candidate and community engagement opportunities
- Act as a brand ambassador for Wesgroup by attending and hosting industry and networking events
- Develop a strong, credible presence within key talent communities and markets
- Contribute ideas and strategies that help position Wesgroup as an employer of choice in the Vancouver market
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of progressive recruitment experience
- Experience recruiting within construction or real estate development, or related industries is considered an asset
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles and business functions
- Strong experience partnering with and influencing hiring managers and leaders
- Experience supporting or coaching interview practices is considered an asset
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Dayforce is an asset)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with behavioural and competency-based interviewing techniques and pre-hire assessments tools
- Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates in competitive talent markets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, and evolving environment
EXPECTED COMPENSATION
- Annual Base Salary: The expected salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 per annum. Actual offered salary will depend on individual experience, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
