Full job description

Overview
We are looking someone who enjoy working outdoors in a professional and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, along with the technical expertise to manage various tree-related tasks. As a part of our team you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of trees in our care while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications:

A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assist & perform hedge trimming
Assist in tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Work with ladders, occasionally drive truck and trailer
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any repairs needed.

Skills

Experience in landscape maintenance practices, including knowledge of plant species and care requirements.
Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe tree removal or trimming operations is not a must but can be an asset.
Ability to operate a boom lift is not a must but can be an asset.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service in garden care.

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

West Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
