Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Food Counter Attendant, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused attitude will shine! In this energetic role, you’ll be the friendly face behind the food counter, preparing and serving delicious meals with efficiency and care. Your positive energy will help create a welcoming environment for all guests, ensuring they enjoy a seamless food service experience. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, customer service, and restaurant operations while being part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve customers with enthusiasm, answer questions about menu items, and upsell additional products to enhance their experience.
Handle cash transactions with precision, perform cash handling duties, and balance cash registers at the end of shifts.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, counters, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.

Experience

Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling protocols.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.
Previous kitchen or serving experience will be considered an asset for success in this role.
