Full job description

An exciting opportunity to join an established swine operation in the heart of Huron County in Brussels, ON. Breeding Manager will be responsible for breeding operations of the sow barn, supervising breeding staff, maintaining healthy livestock, and coordinating with the main office and Barn Manager as required regarding parts/maintenance and other administrative needs.

Attention to detail, Manual dexterity, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Overtime required

Work Location Information
Rural area, Relocation costs covered by employer, housing could be made available and company pickup truck for business use.

Personal Suitability
Motivated & Initiative, Problem solving, Flexibility, Team oriented, Organized, Values and ethics, mechanical understanding, excellent communication in English & Spanish is a must.

Equipment and Machinery Experience
Must hold a valid license

Specific Skills
The ability to communicate with all levels of staff and manage personal is key for this role. Must be able to speak fluent Spanish and communicate in English.

Monitoring animal health, raising and breeding of swine, manage overall operation of the barn, maintain production records, supervise staff, perform general farm duties, maintenance knowledge.
