Job Description:
As an Interior Painter on our drywall team, you will be responsible for preparing and painting drywall surfaces to a professional standard. You will work closely with our installers and finishers to ensure smooth, clean, and precise finishes that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities:

Prepare drywall surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and repairing minor imperfections
Apply paint, primer, and other finishes to interior walls and ceilings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Collaborate with the drywall team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Touch up and correct paint imperfections as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a construction painter, preferably with drywall
Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel and lift materials
Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Valid driver's license is an asset, especially for jobs across Whitehorse and surrounding areas

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
