Analyze product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize mold design.
Conduct simulations and testing to validate mold designs.
Ensure mold designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Create and manage design libraries. Utilize libraries to ensure Mold components are standardized as much as possible. Maintain a detailed list of standard components. Design utilizing standard libraries.
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mold projects.
Analyze project requirements, materials, and labor costs to create estimates.
Collaborate with sales teams to provide quotes and proposals to customers.
Mentor junior mold designers and estimators.
Oversee mold design and estimating projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and manufacturing.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration to meet project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
