Full job description

Provide in time and in an accurately manner internal customer logistics support ensuring the stores and inventory, without supervision.

Role Responsibilities:

Performing cycle counts, completing stock checks, and reporting to Supervisor
Entering count results and generating variance reports
Reporting all found discrepancies, shortages, variances and providing knowledge-based solutions
Monitoring late or critical parts delivery
Delivering incoming parts from receiving and stores to the appropriate areas
Monitoring purchased parts issues to open work orders and updating tracking report
Reviewing shortages and related system transactions and material movement for root cause
Ensuring stock record accuracy, with the ability to follow up with internal customers on record discrepancy.
Posting inventory transactions to business systems (computer and non-computer-based systems)
Adding unplanned material to NCR
Issuing supplier rework or outside subcontract as required and follow-up on return of parts
Reviewing and reporting material shortages on all material related levels
Kitting parts based on Production and Order needs
Processing kitted parts from stores
Organizing and maintaining stores area
Labelling parts, packaging parts and storing parts in a safe and organized manner
Removing all pallets and crates as required
Ensuring that tasks are executed safely, following all safety protocols and procedures to protect the employees, equipment and the transformer.
Utilizing effective time management to meet production deadlines.
All other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 Education or equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer proficiency for reporting and analysis. Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook
Knowledge and experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and material management systems (i.e. SAP)
Knowledge of the cycle counting process and inventory accuracy
Forklift and front-end loader experience is an asset, but may be required to attain within 6-month probation period.
A minimum of seven years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Full knowledge of hand and power tool use
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment
Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings, sketches, shematic interpretations and engineering specification blueprints. PTI Transformers LP is an equal opportunity employer.
