Full job description

Prodigy Personnel is recruiting an experience MIG for our client in Mississauga area. As a MIG Pipe Welder, you will have a chance to challenge yourself and grow through different department practices. A successful candidate must be committed to personal learning and work cohesively with a friendly and knowledgeable team.

Location: Mississauga, ON (Drew Rd & Dixie)

Shift: Days 7am to 3:15pm

Pay: Starting at $25/per hour

Responsibilities:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Must be able to read and understand blueprints / drawings.
Must have experience with fitting and pipe welding.
Must have experience some with MIG
Must have experience with Multi passes
Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Some heavy lifting may be necessary. Must be able up to lift 50 lbs.
Must have an eye for detail and be quality oriented.
Have strong sense or responsibility and willingness to learn new concepts.
Able to operate with high sense of diligence and priority for safety.
Must have strong English communication skills and able to delegate competing priorities in production.
Must have strong organizational skills and decision-making ability.
Computer literate. Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 50lbs
Must have CSA approved safety shoes
Clear criminal background
Available Monday to Friday (full time)
