Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where your skills in serving and hospitality will be valued and developed.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring prompt service
Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and suggest drink pairings
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and teamwork-oriented attitude
Must be at least 19 years old

We are looking for a reliable team member who is available to work evenings and weekends, as these shifts are mandatory for this position.
