Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Takeout team member to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests, managing takeout orders efficiently, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service or restaurant settings. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or takeout orders
Manage phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, taking reservations or answering questions about the menu and services
Handle takeout orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely preparation and delivery to customers
Operate POS systems, to process transactions smoothly and accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area
Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business

Skills

Strong guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Previous experience in serving or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional phone etiquette for taking reservations and handling inquiries
Ability to work well as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude during busy hours

Pay: $17.60 per hour
