Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant Host/Hostess, where your welcoming personality and exceptional customer service skills set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your energetic and friendly demeanor will help manage reservations, seat guests efficiently, and coordinate with the restaurant team to deliver seamless service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality talents and grow within a vibrant culinary environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression that reflects our commitment to hospitality.
Manage reservations and waitlists using POS system, ensuring accurate and efficient seating arrangements.
Direct guests to their tables promptly while providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant.
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservation details.
Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and well-presented.
Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations and a positive dining atmosphere.

Skills

Proven experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service roles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations, inquiries, and feedback professionally.
Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Knowledge of food service procedures and restaurant operations is highly desirable.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across customer-focused settings.
