About the Role:

Are you looking to get your hands on deck of a growing team and company? We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking Production Worker to join our team! Our Production Worker is a great entry position into the world of manufacturing, with lots of room for growth! We are hiring at our Edmonton location at 5219 47 St NW on a variety of shifts:

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Monday-Friday, 2:15pm-10:45pm

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $20.50/hour

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be able to work with a team and contribute to the team
Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
Ability to perform repetitive work and moderate physical exertion
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work accurately and efficiently
Good attention to details & ability to follow policies/procedures
Eye for efficiency and thrives in a continuous improvement culture
Strong attention to the safety of self and others
Forklift experience an asset
First Aid an asset

Core Responsibilities:

Ensure that materials are labeled correctly and accurately
Restack finished and stripped product as required
Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing and all continuous improvement initiatives
Help monitor production waste, work as part of a team to find root causes for defective and follow best practices to improve quality
Ensure the production area is kept clean and orderly at all times
Perform other manufacturing projects/duties as requested by the production supervisor
