Full job description

Job Summary

Position Overview

This position assists with the electronic processing and control of order release.

Essential Job Functions

· Use Sales Order Processing programs to Allocate lines, Batch and Print orders,

· Use control measures to monitor the status of orders,

· Utilize web resources to track orders both internally & externally,

· Prioritize work load to keep work flow on schedule and to meet deadline demands,

· Communicate updates and answer inquiries between customers, Customer Service and others,

· Scan completed picklists and BOLs into appropriate data retrieval location,

· File and update records,

· Conduct transactions and maintain accurate inventory of CHEP pallets,

· Organize, and control office resources and consumables,

· Assist the Receiving cell with reception of truckloads and control of inventory, and

· Any other duties as assigned.

· Continue personal and professional development

· Foster positive working relationships

Requirements

Must haves:

· Be able to read, interpret, and fully understand the pick-list and order forms

· Previous shipping and order fulfillment experience

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail

· Solid reasoning skills and ability to interpret demand and priority

· Proficiency in computer systems and technology

· Proficiency in MS Office applications

· Must be able to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time

· Must be able to assist with counting product in warehouse setting

Education and Experience

· High School diploma or GED

· 2-3 Years office experience in an commercial office setting

· 2-3 Years experience in a Distribution Center or Previous shipping and warehouse experience in manufacturing environment

Pay: $19.50-$22.00 per hour
