Job Overview

UNAVU Hiring is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused team members to join our growing restaurant team. Whether you're experienced in food service or looking to start your career in the hospitality industry, we provide a supportive and fast-paced environment where you can learn, grow, and make a positive impact. You'll help prepare quality food, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dining, and work areas.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Handle food products safely during preparation, storage, and service.
Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.
Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging as needed.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Help create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience is an asset but not required.
Fluency in Tamil is required to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling practices is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service.
Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting.
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
