Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your ability to manage time effectively while delivering outstanding guest services will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces regularly.
Assist in the kitchen as needed, including food handling and preparation tasks.
Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as required.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns regarding their meals.
Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures at all times.
Knowledge and understanding of Provincial Liquor Laws and Regulations. Serving it Right is required.
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to guest services and kitchen operations.
