Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Seasonal Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have previous food service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and relay them to kitchen staff
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure tables are clean, sanitized, and properly set before and after service
Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service and guest support
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with sanitation standards
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in serving roles
Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction management
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Experience with food handling, food safety procedures, and food industry standards
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work during peak seasons as needed

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who enjoy engaging with guests while working in a lively restaurant setting. All roles are paid positions, offering valuable experience in the food industry.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
