Administrative Assistant – Ajax Women’s Health Clinic

Ajax, ON

The Ajax Women’s Health Clinic is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our busy women’s health practice. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Process referrals, requisitions, and other medical documentation
Answer phone calls and emails promptly
Provide general administrative support to physicians and clinical staff
cleaning and sterilizing instruments used in procedures

Qualifications:

Previous administrative or medical office experience preferred but not required
Experience with EMR systems (knowledge of Accuro is a strong asset)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in GSuite

Job Type: 32-38 hrs weekly

Schedule: Monday to Friday (there may be some evenings or Saturdays)

Compensation: $19 an hour
