Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting various administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail or customer service environments are highly valued to enhance our diverse team.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage incoming calls using phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately
Handle customer check-ins and check-outs with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain organized front desk area and manage scheduling appointments
Assist with basic merchandising and product demos when needed
Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cashiering and cash handling
Upsell products or services to enhance customer experience and sales opportunities
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely communication and organizational flow
Manage time effectively to prioritize duties during busy periods
Tidy up common areas when needed

Experience

Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or front desk operations preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for cash handling
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
Experience with technology sales or product demos is advantageous
Ability to manage time effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse clientele
