Avec le bureau chef basée à Coteau-du-Lac, Québec (ouest de Montréal), Ronsco Inc. est l'un des principaux fabricants et distributeurs de produits pour wagons et locomotives. Elle exploite le plus grand atelier de roues indépendant au Canada (Hamilton, Ontario) ainsi que fournir des services de réparation de wagons et de locomotives.

Titre du poste : Coordinateur(trice) comptable

Coordinateur(trice) comptable soutient les opérations financières en assurant la gestion des comptes fournisseurs et clients, les rapprochements et la production de rapports financiers précis et en temps opportun. Ce rôle contribue à la tenue de dossiers fiables et au bon déroulement des activités financières quotidiennes.

Le candidat idéal est rigoureux, organisé et collaboratif, avec d’excellentes aptitudes en communication et la capacité de gérer plusieurs priorités. Une bonne maîtrise des systèmes comptables, des plateformes ERP et d’Excel est essentielle, ainsi qu’une forte capacité à apprendre rapidement de nouvelles technologies et à utiliser les outils numériques pour améliorer l’efficacité et l’exactitude.

Responsabilités :

Gérer les encaissements des comptes clients, les dépôts et assurer le suivi des paiements en souffrance.
Appliquer les paiements des clients avec exactitude et analyser les écarts.
Examiner et traiter les demandes de crédit des clients, y compris l’ouverture de comptes et la gestion des limites de crédit.
Traiter quotidiennement les factures fournisseurs dans iDocuments et le système ERP, en veillant à l’autorisation appropriée et à l’exactitude de la documentation.
Collaborer avec les départements internes et les fournisseurs externes pour résoudre les enjeux comptables.
Effectuer les paiements hebdomadaires par TEF et chèques, en assurant un traitement précis et ponctuel.
Effectuer les rapprochements bancaires et de cartes de crédit, en assurant leur exactitude et la conformité de la documentation.
Réconcilier les transactions de douanes et de droits dans le portail CARM, en s’assurant de leur concordance avec les comptes fournisseurs dans le système ERP.
Réconcilier les factures clients du système de gestion des réparations avec les transactions du système ERP.
Maintenir des dossiers financiers et une documentation à jour et précis.
Participer au processus de clôture de fin de mois.
Contribuer à la préparation des rapports financiers internes, au besoin.
Participer à l’amélioration des processus afin d’accroître l’efficacité et l’exactitude des fonctions comptables.
Participer aux audits en fournissant la documentation et le soutien requis.
Négocier les modalités avec les fournisseurs afin d’optimiser les échéanciers de paiement et la gestion des flux de trésorerie, notamment en favorisant la transition vers les paiements par TEF lorsque possible.
Utiliser les systèmes comptables et les outils numériques pour améliorer l’efficacité et optimiser les processus.
Fournir un soutien administratif à l’équipe comptable au besoin.
Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe assignée.

Qualifications requises :

Diplôme en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe.
Minimum de 2 à 3 ans d’expérience éprouvée dans des fonctions comptables.
Bilinguisme (français et anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit). Requis pour communiquer efficacement avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les équipes internes partout au Canada et en Amérique du Nord.
Forte aptitude technologique et capacité à apprendre et s’adapter rapidement à de nouveaux systèmes et outils.
Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Office, particulièrement Excel.
Une expérience avec iDocuments et SAP Business One constitue un atout.
Grand souci du détail et solides aptitudes analytiques et de résolution de problèmes.
Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles et de communication, avec un esprit d’équipe développé.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités, respecter les échéanciers et évoluer dans un environnement dynamique.
Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles avec une approche proactive et autonome du travail.

Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

The Accounting Coordinator supports financial operations through accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting. This role helps ensure accurate records and smooth day-to-day processing of financial transactions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in accounting systems, ERP platforms, and Excel is essential, along with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and using digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts receivable collections, deposits, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Apply customer payments accurately and investigate discrepancies.
Review and process customer credit applications, including account setup and credit limit maintenance.
Process accounts payable invoices daily in iDocuments and ERP system, ensuring proper authorization and accurate documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve accounting issues.
Issue payments via EFT and cheques weekly, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Reconcile bank and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Reconcile customs and duties transactions in the CARM portal, ensuring alignment with accounts payable records in the ERP system.
Reconcile accounts receivable invoices from the Repair Management System with ERP transactions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.
Support the month-end closing process.
Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports as required.
Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting functions.
Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
Negotiate vendor terms to optimize payment schedules and cash flow management, including facilitating the transition to EFT payments when possible.
Utilize accounting systems and digital tools to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting roles
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written). Required to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams across Canada and North America.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with iDocuments and SAP Business One is considered an asset.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
