Description de poste – Journalier(ère) général(e)

Titre du poste : Journalier(ère) général(e)

Supérieur immédiat : Superviseur / Directeur des opérations

Horaire de travail :

Du lundi au vendredi
40 heures par semaine

Sommaire du poste

Le(la) journalier(ère) général(e) est responsable d'effectuer diverses tâches de soutien afin d'assurer le bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes. La personne travaillera en collaboration avec les soudeurs et les autres membres de l'équipe pour maintenir un environnement de travail sécuritaire, propre et efficace.

Responsabilités principales

Organiser et ranger les équipements, les outils et le matériel.
Assister les soudeurs dans leurs tâches quotidiennes.
Meuler les pièces métalliques à l'aide d'une meuleuse.
Couper le métal à l'aide d'une meuleuse selon les instructions reçues.
Appliquer du silicone sur les produits ou les équipements, lorsque requis.
Effectuer diverses tâches de manutention générale.
Maintenir son aire de travail propre et sécuritaire.
Utiliser les outils et équipements de façon sécuritaire.
Signaler toute situation dangereuse ou tout problème à son supérieur immédiat.
Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe demandée par son supérieur.

Conditions de travail

Travail à temps plein (40 heures par semaine).
Horaire de jour, du lundi au vendredi.
Travail effectué à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur tout au long de l'année.
Exposition aux différentes conditions climatiques.
Travail physique nécessitant de soulever, déplacer et manipuler des matériaux et des équipements.

Exigences

Bonne capacité à effectuer un travail physique.
Esprit d'équipe et attitude positive.
Sens de l'organisation.
Fiabilité et ponctualité.
Capacité à suivre les directives et à travailler de façon sécuritaire.
Expérience avec des outils manuels et électriques (un atout).
Expérience dans un environnement industriel ou de fabrication (un atout).

****Vous devez disposer d'un véhicule pour venir travailler. Les transports en commun s'arrêtent devant l'entrée principale. En raison de la circulation dense des camions et des trains, la marche est interdite pour votre sécurité.

Job Description – General Labourer

Position Title: General Labourer

Reports To: Supervisor / Director of Operations

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday
40 hours per week

Position Summary

The General Labourer is responsible for performing a variety of support duties to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the workplace. The successful candidate will work alongside welders and other team members while maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and maintain equipment, tools, and materials.
Assist welders with daily tasks.
Grind metal components using a grinder.
Cut metal using a grinder according to instructions.
Apply silicone to products or equipment as required.
Perform general labour and material handling duties.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or other operational matters to the immediate supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Monday to Friday work schedule.
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
Regular exposure to varying weather conditions.
Physically demanding work requiring lifting, moving, and handling materials and equipment.

Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding work.
Strong teamwork and positive attitude.
Good organizational skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Experience using hand and power tools is an asset.
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

*** You must have a vehicle to come to work. Public transportation stops at the front entrance. Due to truck & train traffic walking is prohibited for your safety.

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
