Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience with food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, POS systems, and customer engagement within a vibrant food industry setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS.
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
Manage cash handling transactions accurately, including cashiering and processing payments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, bar, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest experience.
Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables or bar patrons while managing multiple tables efficiently.
Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts.
Uphold all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
