Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking dishwasher to join our team. The dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and cooking equipment according to established procedures
Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting fries or portioning proteins.
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste according to sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and kitchen workspace
Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishes and utensils during peak service times
Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen management

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
No previous experience required, will train
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
