Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sausage Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat cutting and food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. As the Sausage Maker, you will be responsible for preparing various cuts of meat for sale, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
Ensure all meat is handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation standards.
Assist customers by providing knowledgeable information about meat products and preparation techniques.
Package meat products for display and sale while ensuring freshness and quality.
Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the department.

Experience

Previous experience as a butcher and Sausage Maker or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques , Recipes and food safety practices.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in meat preparation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
