Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for skilled subcontractor painting crews or independent tradespeople who take pride in their craft and consistently deliver high-quality work. You’re professional, reliable, and organized, and you want steady, well-managed projects with a respected company. If you value clear communication, efficiency, and doing the job right, we want to partner with you.

About Envision Painting

Envision Painting delivers high-quality painting services across Vancouver Island. We value professionalism, accountability, safety, and clear communication. Subcontractors play a key role in completing projects on time, on budget, and to our high standards.

Responsibilities

Accept project Purchase Orders (POs) within 24 hours and confirm scheduling with the Project Coordinator
Complete all work according to POs, Envision standards, and safety protocols
Apply two coats of paint unless additional coats are approved
Maintain clean, organized job sites; use drop sheets at all times
Provide your own tools and sundries; pick up paint at designated locations
Conduct final client walk-throughs, obtain sign-offs, and submit photos
Communicate project progress and updates via Google Chat or email
Wear Envision apparel on site and maintain professional conduct

Requirements

GST registration, WCB coverage, and $3M liability insurance listing Envision Painting as Additional Insured
Painting experience and ability to work independently
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused

Payment

Payment issued within 7 days of receiving invoice and completed client sign-off
Work without approved POs or change orders will not be paid

What to Expect After You Apply

Initial Contact & Intake

Our Project Coordinator will reach out to qualified candidates to confirm your interest, collect your contact info, and review your experience.

Agreement & Documentation

You’ll review and sign our Subcontractor Agreement and SOP, and provide required documents

Project Assignment

You’ll receive a detailed Purchase Order (PO) for your first job. Confirm acceptance within 24 hours and coordinate your start date with the Project Coordinator.

On-Site Start & First Job Support

The Field Supervisor will meet you on site for your first day to ensure a smooth start and review expectations.

Performance & Feedback

Your first few jobs will be monitored for quality, communication, and adherence to SOPs. Feedback will be provided to help you succeed and build a long-term relationship with Envision Painting.
