Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Roofer Helper to assist experienced roofing professionals in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn construction and roofing techniques while gaining valuable hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be dependable, physically capable, and eager to develop skills in the construction industry.

Duties

Assist roofers with the installation and repair of various roofing materials, including shingles, metal, and membrane systems
Carry and organize roofing materials and tools on job sites
Use hand tools such as hammers, drills, and pry bars to support roofing tasks
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare work areas by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and safety barriers
Help with caulking and sealing around roof penetrations to ensure waterproofing
Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to support accurate installation
Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural components
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols

Skills

Experience with hand tools and basic construction techniques
Knowledge of carpentry and blueprint reading is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
Familiarity with caulking, sealing, and handyman tasks is advantageous
Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team

Pay: $20.89-$42.28 per hour
